Inspired by a quote from environmentalist Arizona Muse, our founder wanted to create something that would never end up in landfill. And so, after two years of research, Return To Earth was born. Crafted entirely from natural leather to form a sturdy, envelope-shaped silhouette, this clutch uses innovative belts to keep it secure - and to leave it free from metal hardware. That means that at the end of its lifespan, this style will eventually biodegrade, compost and nourish the Earth. Its contrast stitching highlights the construction and our initials that are embroidered at the back.

The leather used in the Return to Nature collection uses a pioneering tanning and finishing method, developed with Nera Tanning and Richard Hoffmans (est. 1899), resulting in a product that is chrome, heavy-metal and aldehyde-free – and thus if desired, they are able to biodegrade at end of life. The skins are sourced from Scan-Hide Swedish farms with some of the highest standards of animal welfare.
