The Return to Nature collection is created to never end up in landfill, instead it will biodegrade, compost and return to the earth at the end of its useful life nourishing the soil in the process. Responding to our climate crisis, and inspired by a quote from environmentalist Arizona Muse, the project is the result of two years of research and innovation.

The Cross-Body Bag is a practical but stylish hands-free shape. Its fold-over flap is secured by an innovative belt closure with logo embossing and the adjustable strap secures with a tab closure keeping the bag free of hardware. Using a new tanning and finishing technique we have created a leather that is chrome, heavy-metal and aldehyde-free and is finished with Activated Silk™ Technology to allow the bag, should you wish, to biodegrade, compost and nourish the soil at the end of its useful life. This means that it could never end up in landfill. The cross-body can be personalised with up to two initials. This collection supports Dirt, Muse’s foundation for the regeneration of the earth, with £10 from the sale of this bag going to the organisation.

This specially tanned leather is a natural product and as such any imperfections are considered natural features of this material. The leather will age in its own unique way. To keep it protected from rain spots and water marks, and to feed and enhance the leather, it needs a little more love than other bags: please use our specially developed Chambers Wax included with the bag to protect the leather and also to soften any day-to-day scratches or marks.

Returns

If you decide to return, please send it to us within 14 days. Orders placed between the 1st November - 24th December for Christmas gifting can be returned up until the 15th January.
