This September, our latest concept store to arrive at the Village Hall is a unique collaboration with the legendary Japanese speciality stationers, Itoya, founded in 1904. This is the first time the Village Hall hosts an external store, and the first time the cult, family-owned Tokyo stationery shop has come to the UK, bringing its beautiful product selection. The concept fuses Anya Hindmarch’s well-known passion for organisation with Itoya’s devotion to creativity and inspiration.

The space launches Anya Hindmarch’s latest stationery collection – a series of pieces which celebrate organisation. Expect crisp leather files, playful pencil cases and streamlined organisers alongside joyful pieces to animate your desk. Revolving display cabinets and floor to ceiling shelves are stacked with treasures from both the Anya Hindmarch collection and Itoya’s extensive range – own collection and sourced brands.

And, don’t miss our dynamic workshops, including Japanese calligraphy and manga illustration.

Itoya was founded in 1904, the brainchild of Katsutaro Ito, who aimed to bring stationery to the Japanese people, inspired by the working style of the West. Intended to be a creative retreat for all ages, Itoya opened a store in the up and coming area of Ginza. A true trailblazer in this space, the brand continued to bring customers new forms of stationery innovation, inspired by Katsutaro Ito’s global travels. New ideas and continual discovery continue to underpin the Itoya philosophy. Over the following century, the brand opened several new stores and built a reputation for groundbreaking creativity in the world of stationery.
